The Metanexus Global Network (MGN) is an interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, international network of groups focusing on multidisciplinary study and discussion of religion and science.

The Local Societies Initiative (LSI) was a grant program designed to provide "seed money" for establishing these groups, many intentionally Christian. The MGN’s LSI has more than 200 societies with over 11,000 members in 40 countries.
