Dr. Graham Walker is President of Patrick Henry College. Dr. Walker formerly served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OWU) in Bartlesville, OK. Before going to Oklahoma Wesleyan in 2002, Professor Walker taught at the University of Pennsylvania, 1988-1996, and Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., where he also taught in the undergraduate Honors Program, which emphasizes the integration of one's Christian faith with one's academic study. In addition, Professor Walker was a visiting scholar with the American Enterprise Institute while there.
Professor Walker earned his Ph.D. in political philosophy from Notre Dame in 1988, the same year he received the Edward S. Corwin Award from the American Political Science Association for the best dissertation in the nation in the field of public law. His dissertation on St. Augustine was published under the title Moral Foundations of Constitutional Thought: Current Problems, Augustinian Prospects (Princeton University Press, 1990).
