Randolph Stone

Randolph Stone

Randolph Stone is Clinical Professor of Law the University of Chicago Law sSchool and former Director of the school’s Mandel Legal Aid Clinic. Prior to joining the law school faculty he served as Director of the Public Defender’s Office for Cook County. He has served as chair of the ABA’s Criminal Justice Section, and on a number of committees, including the Illinois Capital Punishment Reform Study Committee.

Professor Stone’s teaching and writing include work on clinical legal education, criminal law, juvenile justice, and race and criminal justice. He currently directs the Clinical and Juvenile Justice Project at Mandel Clinic.
